FAQ's:

Q: What do you mean, "grind the shoulder into hamburger?"

A: The shoulder muscle isn't the most tender piece for choice cuts and steaks. By grinding it into your hamburger, you get the most out of your beef share!

Q: What is cube steak used for? Is that like stew meat?

A: Yes, you can use cube steak as stew meat, BUT the conveniently cut cubes are better suited for kabobs, fajitas, etc.

Q: Can I get my share packed into fewer boxes so they aren't so heavy when I pick them up?

A: Absolutely! Let us know how you'd like your beef divided into boxes and we can make that happen for you!

Q: Can I get more than one steak in a package?

A: Absolutely! Let us know how many steaks you'd like per package! We typically put one steak in a package for the sake of convenience.

Q: Can I get hamburger patties pre-patted?

A: Yes! You can have pre-patted patties for easy dinners & pinics! See the options in the list above.

Ingredients

100% Grass fed Beef

Willows Farm grass fed beef comes from cattle that were only fed grass and forage for their whole lives.

In your local grocery store, grass fed beef may mean meat from cattle that were started on a grass diet but either received supplemental grains or were finished on a full grain-based diet. Some of the beef labeled “grass fed” in your grocery store spend months of their lives eating grain in feedlots to help them quickly gain weight. These cows are not required to be fed only grass or be pastured raised to be labeled "grass fed." Other beef products labeled grass fed may only spend the last 90 days of their lives on pasture.

At WF, our beef is 100% grass fed, grass finished, and free ranged for the life of the animal.

Several scientific studies suggest grass finished beef is 20% lower in calories than grain finished beef and has higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamins A and E, and CLA’s (Conjugated Linoleic Acid — an essential fatty acid that fights cancer and inhibits body fat).
